We have been a a little bit of a hiatus due to the holidays and all this snow but we’re ready to get back into the swing of things. What better way then a good old fashion dance party! You know the drill, good music, cheap beers, loose friends, party time!
SAMO SOUND BOY – LOS ANGELES, CA
TROUBLE & BASS / PALMS OUT SOUNDS
Samo Sound Boy is a Los Angeles based producer and DJ whose powerful live sets, and original productions have brought him to the forefront of 2010’s global club scene. His introduction as an artist came in 2005 when Samo spent a year living Buenos Aires, Argentina. There he learned to DJ from experimental cumbia producers at the now infamous Fugees 99, a Nigerian-owned dancehall in the city’s south end. Compounding those influences with a love of crunk and ghetto house, Samo emerged to create a uniquely rugged but soulful sound of his own. With his second EP released through Palms Out Sounds, another on the way for Trouble and Bass, and forthcoming remixes for the likes of Tim Dolla, Bassanova, and NGUZUNGUZU, Samo is only getting started spreading his club aesthetic that Chicago journalist Dave Quam described as: “Weird, banging, and beautiful. Like a shortwave radio recording of all the best stations at once.”
Also we got our boy RIZZLA coming down from Boston to get the crowd lusting. He never disappoints the dance floor anytime he’s in the beat so expect nothing less the perfection. Also hes been working on a lot of new production so expect to hear some exclusives coming off some future releases!!!
GREG2000 will be there with the standard dose of heavy fog, lights, lazers, and intense visuals. He’ll also be dropping some fire on the dance floor, so don’t come late or you’ll miss all the fun.
And last but not least home town heroes
PK RIPPER & DIRTY D. will be there starting things off finishing things up and all around tearing the place down!
Come early and come ready to dance and party! Let do this CT
