So, The Hartford Advocate is doing a best of 2011 competition right now and It’s time to show some love for your friendly neighborhood party starters as well as our myriad friends in the area.
Head on down to The Advocate’s website and check out the following categories. You have to fill out 30 categories in order to vote so by all means get creative but this is how the HPSU is voting in a few super important categories.
Local Favorites – Hartford – Best Bar
The Arch Street Tavern or Sully’sMedia – Best Hyperlocal News Site
Sad City HartfordShopping – Best Local Clothing Shop
The Hartford Denim CompanyMedia – Best Local Blogger
The Hartford Party Starters Union
Sully’s Pub and Arch Street have been awesome in putting on shows with us. Sad City Hartford is clearly the best local news site and if you don’t read it every single day of your life you’re pretty much not even living. Finally, since there’s no category for best not-for-profit music promotion group (niche market) vote for us for best local blogger.
Remember, not voting is essentially the same as voting for Colin McEnroe and nobody wants that.
