Chiptune absolutely blows. As a genre it’s populated almost entirely with garbage made by man-children with a free trial of fruity loops, a soundcloud and the pervasive idea that what they’re doing is somehow high art. Occasionally however someone manages to put together some chiptune that is actually enjoyable and deeper and not just HAHA THIS SOUNDS LIKE VIDEOGAMES LOOK AT ME!
3 Flavors of 8 Bit is one of these. Really chill, synthy and some pretty tight production. Check it out.
